limitations on fall lacrosse

Postby culax on Wed Nov 02, 2005 6:04 pm

does anyone know if the mdia or (any member conference) limits the dates during which teams can play games in the fall? do any teams have an off season (no games or practices) and if so, how long does it last?

There are no date guidelines at our level. One of the perks to playing in the MDIA. I think the only one is that official MDIA games can't start before "x" date. Not sure what that is, maybe sometime in late January.
Always on point . . .

im not sure if this is our league rule or national but im pretty sure you cant have any "official" fall games after a certainty point in November. which means you just cant have real refs. we had a scrimmage last year after this date. but i think you aren't allowed "official" games from that time in november to jan 15 i think is the date you can start your spring games

At PLU they actually have a limited number of allowed practices in the Fall, and I'll suspect that USD (#1 in the B) has the same type of regulations, but much worse.
