I know Weber State is in the process of applying for reinstatement to the RMLL. They have been in contact with the league for almost a year now. Why is CSM applying for readmission? Did they ever leave?

George Mason didn't fill out an application. The note on their website is from awhile ago when they were thinking about joining, but again didn't fill out an application.

The only team to apply to the SELC has been Eckerd College in (I believe) Tampa, Florida. They would be a B Division team.

I heard something about University of Nebraska-Omaha applying for admission to the GRLC, but you'd have to ask someone more important than me for confirmation of that.

Does anyone know if a team can elect the league they would like to be involved in? For example, a team such as Northern Michigan is actually closer to Wisc. and teams in that part of the upper midwest than most in the CCLA. Are they geographically pigeon-toed to the CCLA just because of location? What happens to teams on the dividing line?

Are any teams attempting to make the jump Div. B to the A Div.?

A team can play in any league that accepts them. There are no firm geographic boundaries.

If a brand new team in Florida was accepted by PNCLL, I think the board of directors might look into it and make a recommendation.

Northern's facility could make it an appealing member since they could host games early in the season.

I believe that St Mary's University is also joining the B division of the UMLL

UMLL

Northern Mich has made contact with me. I owe them a phone call after some e-mail exchange.

The UMLL only accepts applications for admission in the spring meeting. This is to facilitate scheduling, since so much of our league play is indoors and indoor time must be scheduled early.

St. Mary's was accepted for (re) admission to Div B this past spring.

I was not aware of UW-Milwaukee's interest.

The University of New Mexico will not join the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference this year instead will shoot for the 2006-2007 season. There is a lot of work to be done at UNM and to bring it up to speed to be a Division A program.

Our focus is on oraganization and developing the financial means to compete with the likes of Colorado State, BYU, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas Tech, Stanford, UCLA, Arizona State, Texas just to name some of the big guns in our region in the Division A.

My involvement will depend on my health and I'm hopeful that I will Coach again. Jeff Eichman and I are putting our best foot forward on this project and I can tell you first hand this will be the hardest thing I have ever done on or off the Lacrosse field but maybe the most rewarding. I believe we can get there but it will take a great deal of perseverance.

In the mean time the task in front of us is to build a quality Team for 05-06 and play a small schedule with two road trips. One to Denver and one to Salt Lake City. With Airline Tickets so cheap on discount Airlines like Frontier and Southwest we believe it would be less expensive to fly to Denver and Salt Lake and make these trips a very enjoyable time for the Team instead of being on the road for hours. My goal is to expand the schedule in 2007 and play a much larger schedule playing in the west and to continue trips to Denver and Salt Lake and maybe something back east.

If admitted, they will most likely be in the B division as developing members.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but out of those four schools - SJSU and UNLV are the only two with 1-A football teams.
