In the 1st quarter at the Pit, Bluevelvet reporting:

UCSB - 1

Arizona - 0

Arizona held possession for a long time, but were unable to crack the defense. UCSB threw some zone at Arizona and they seemed confused by it.

starting to sound like UCSB came out to make a statement today...

I think it will be interesting to see how the rest of the game goes...

Thoughts? Will this be a blowout, or will Zona be able to get the game under control?

I think UCSB in general has Arizona's number. Look at last year's WCLL championship game for proof of that. UofA just doesn't have the athletes to match up, and they don't seem to have the scorers to get through UCSB's big and physical defense. This game will likely end up at about the same score as last year: 11-1. Being #4 certainly can't hurt from a motivational standpoint for Coach Allen.
