-How many screen names have you been through, and what is the meaning behind your screename?
-How long did you lurk until you began posting?

-Fall of 1999

1. Spring 2001
2. Stems from my e-mail address I picked in high school and since I have done a lot with it, haven't really changed it and it has stuck with me when I select message board names. The lax coming from lacrosse and the BSTE is some form of an abbreviation I came up for Beastie like in the Beastie Boys. I think I saw them in concert my sophomore year in high school and soon after created my hotmail account which then took this name.
3. I lurked a little that Spring with a couple random posts when pertaining to Iowa. Now, I suck at life and am addicted to the internet and this board.

1. Fall 1999, but maybe Spring 1998. i just remember the message boards when they didnt even have a format. it just looked like one big outline where replies were posted underneath the main topic

2. ive been through 3. jessexy, which got banned once. then i came back as jessexy2. now im back to jessexy. and the meaning is self-explanatory and utterly narcisistic

3. i mustve lurked for a long time until i dove headfirst into posting.
peace.

Spring 2000 (which is why i am wondering how cp18 and jessexy started before me, I thought I was first.) I was labeled message board king of A&M (not something I was proud of) I transfered to A&M and looked to see what kind of league I was getting into.. like jessy said, old thread looked very similar if not the same as old laxpower. After that I was hooked.

tamu33 - from the start - I once had to log on as another person when I was at another computer because it had been so long that I had forgotten my password (that name was something like aggielax or something)

Like catlax man, I couldn't resist since I had been reading/posting mostly on laxpower.com, uslia's was a cakewalk.

1. I think I began reading it back when it was the list of topics with replies. I definitely remember that format, but it may have been looking at the Internet Archive shots.

2. This is my third. First was StoneIce02 (Stonehill College, Ice Hockey (the first team I worked with), and class of 02). Next one was when me and Kyle Hawkins decided to use anonymous names so we could be more candid (not that Kyle has any problem being candid most of the time anyways). Sonny, being the genious he is, figured it out and cut us off for it. :D )

3. I didn't lurk very long. Wasn't any fun that way.

1. I actually joined on Sept 11, 2001. OK, it was very late the night before, but it just happens to be one of the things I remember tied to that date.

2. I had another screen name "LaxVic" but only posted a couple under it...I guess the cloak of anonymity neer appealed much to me (except in Basic Training).

3. Lurk Shmurk.
