I'd say Mr. Adams has outdone himself. The photo of the o.t. game winner for Michigan, taken from above the Oregon goal, might be the best of the thousand of Dave's MDIA action shots we have seen over the years. Great job!

Some Martin Vloet shots of the goal on the Michigan site as well. Nice to have Sonny and Dave around this weekend at the Invitational.

Those are indeed fine photos too, but the rare overhead angle of Adams' shot of the game-winner tips the scales for me. If he had only waited a millisecond longer we might have seen the ball tracking to the cage, but leaving the stick is great as is.

Question after reviewing both angles: is Fox's toe touching the crease as he shoots? Maybe, but few refs have the moxy to overrule a game winner (especially at home with a team and fans celebrating) unless it was cut-and-dried, and of course it is not here -- it was "a sixteenth of a blink". Just an innocent ask on my part

Nice win, JP, the Wolverines really seem have it going so far in 2005.

If he went 5 hole, I'm going to be upset. I got stuffed going 5 hole every time I tried against Nate.

Dave Adams is in my mind (and many others) the premier live action lacrosse photographer working today. Incredible shots, worhy of any publication.

Great job this season JP. I am truly pulling for Michigan to head to the finals in Blaine. Your time is well overdue.

Interesting scores. A beat down of Colorado and Oregon taking the Wolverines into OT. Have to believe this will help Oregon in the polls. I know Josh wishes he had the win, but well done Coach Barbour. You have worked wonders with Oregon since taking over.

I join the chorus of agreeing that the overhead shot of the OT game-winning shot by Michigan is far by the the best that I have ever seen by Dave Adams. I believe the picture was PERFECT due to excellent lighting in that facility. Lacrosse Magazine will have to ask permission from Dave Adams and USL MDIA if they want that picture to be featured in one of their magazines (of course, they will have to!).

Wonder if Dave Adams will ever be featured in the Lacrosse Magazine??
