i am surprised as well not to see Quinzani on there, he is ridiculous especially in that UVA game, what 7 goals?

Great minds think alike...I'd take Quinzani ahead of Greer if was building an attack unit. That being said, the best player I've seen this year is Nick O'Hara. Who obviously has no shot at winning because he's a pole.

That was my first thought when I saw the list as well. I reread it twice to see if I had missed the Q names. I can't believe he was left off the list after the season he is having.

I haven't seen Duke this year, but is it possible to argue that Quinzani is having a good year because he plays directly with Danowski and Greer? I have a feeling those two could make just about anyone look good.

That's my problem with Greer...he's hands-down the best finisher in the game, but he's not the best player in the game. I bet 60-70% of his goals are assisted and he's rarely more than 10 ft away from the crease. I think Greer benefits from playing with Quinzani more than Quinzani does from playing with Greer. Quinzani has great speed and the quickest hands I've seen. He can dodge and create his own shot better than Greer can.

EDIT: After checking Duke's boxscores, 79% of Greer's goals are assisted, compared to 60% of all of Duke's goals being assisted.

In parts of both the Hopkins game and the UVA game, Greer was getting the 3rd pole as they had bumped the 2nd pole up to Quinzani.

I am by no means a Duke fan, but the talent on that team is unreal. Personally, I think Greer is the fourth-best player on that team...O'Hara, Dano, Quinzani, Greer.

well then...is it the concensus that a Blue Devil wins it???

I was pulling for Rabil, and then he suffered a minor injury this year and was slowed down a bit - because when he plays, heallthy - the man is a beast....(note the signature quote on the bottom)

If its a Dukie - let it be Danowski...the guy flat out does everything (except play defense) - I dont think Ive ever seen an attackman ride the way he does, ever...

I'm a Hopkins fan, and was pulling for Rabil to win it this year, but he's just not done enough. If anyone on Hopkins deserves to be a finalist it's Peyser...then maybe Huntley.

Hopkins losing game after game has hurt Rabil.

I find it amusing that they put players from Salisbury and LeMoyne on the list, as if they would ever give serious consideration to a DII or DIII player.

I think that is part of the reason they started to lose game after game, he wasnt 100% - I know its not a one man show, but you can see the difference with him healthy vs. Maryland.... Ive watched every Hopkins game this year, and you can see on that 3 game stretch he wasnt at his finest...

I have watched every game as well (Thank you creator of DVR) and when Rabil is 100% he is scary good.

Kylor Berkman is ridiculous and would start on any DI team anywhere in the country. He chose to play for his father at Salisbury. Averaged 3.43 ppg last year as a sophomore and 3.25 ppg this year. I've only seen him play a handful of times, but I would guess he'd put up similar numbers at the DI level.

That being said, he's obviously got no shot at winning.

I still think the best game ever was the Salisbury vs Cortland championship game in 2006. being there was amazing...now only if enough people would sign up for it to be made on NCAAondemand.com i could order a dvd of it. Unless someone else knows where i can get a copy?
