Anyone know of any lax in Juneau?

Or anyone have any contacts?

Might be moving there by the end of the month, and i'll be there for 26 months. I can't imagine wall-ball for 26 months being my only option...ugh.

No you may not join the PNCLL, the conference is spread out enough...

In all seriousness, I just sent an email off. An ex-PLU player is in AK right now, but I don't remember where. I feel like he's coaching a HS team or working with kids playing near Anchorage, but I'm really not sure. Hopefully hear back soon.

Ha ha, well, there is the University of Alaska, Southeast there - maybe we'll have to get a club team started there. You better increase your travel budget - it's a 3.5 day ferry ride from Bellingham, Washington. ;-)

Thanks for the help Kyle - I did contact the Alaska chapter of USLacrosse - they said that most of the lacrosse is in the Anchorage areas, nothing in Fairbanks yet, and that there might be an indoor league in Juneau. But they didn't have any contacts for me yet.

I am from AK, and as far as I know there isn't much lax and it's only happening in Anchorage. PLU players Conor Cartland and Chris Davis went to high school with me and I know they are up there. My brother played for Southridge in Portalnd before having a kid and moving back and he's up there as well. They were going to try and get some stuff going this summer last I heard. Try to get it going in Juneau, they would love it and there are some athletes up there, maybe Carlos Boozer has a little brother that could be a monster on the field. :D

Whew.... narrowly avoided that one. Almost moved there - even put in my notice to my apartment complex - then my company wouldn't pay me what I wanted.... so i'm staying in Denver.

Thanks for the info. though guys.
