AZ HS: Games Cancelled Because of Ref Boycott

A referee boycott that caused the cancellation of two games in Arizona on Tuesday night has ended, and the games will be made up, a league official has told WSL.

Steve Adamick, the Arizona Youth Lacrosse League's committee chair for rules, refused to comment. When reached by phone, he told WSL Executive Editor Nathan Max the following: "I really dislike you and your web site, so I have no comment."

Anyone have any insight on this? Any thoughts?

Todd you are the man, I swear you are on top of every single Lacrosse news clip in the e-world.

Why don't you create a website, start your own news/blog whatever, quit your job and come back and coach. You could upgrade to Weber State.

I play Woodsx this week and its just not the same.

I know of this Adamick fellow. He did my high school games in AZ, and I played with him in a summer box league this past summer. Believe it or not, he also officiated in the NLL at Arizona Sting games.

That comment he made pretty much sums him up.

As for the boycott, I'm uninformed.

Ahh, if coaching paid as well as what I do now, I would. I am 90% sure I will be out for the game though. i will be ready to heckle. Do we know who will be reffing? Please say marty or Omalley....

And the refs are, Hal P. Steven N. Randell S. so no big names I don't even know the last two.
Should be a good game, my team has their work cut out for them.
