My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire LU Lacrosse family at this time as well as the lacrosse community nationwide. We are one large family and this has shaken us all.

Just terrible news. I hope Liberty and their families get through this difficult time quickly and all involved recover fully.

Unfortunately, this incident could happen to any program at any time. Be safe out there guys when driving those vans and cars to games and practices. If possible, discuss alternate forms of transportation for the team with your school, they might be receptive. When I was coaching at BU, the administration wanted us in charter buses for travel. Other teams envied us for the luxury, but they didn't understand that the school would rather pay that money than deal with a tragedy like this. If you are driving yourselves to games, make sure the most responsible people are behind the wheel and take this responsibility very seriously. Too much is at stake here.

Good luck to all those on the road in the coming weeks. Be safe.

The quickest recovery to the LU team and family, you are in our hearts and prayers here at Harding.

Anyone know an address where I can send flowers to? We called the hospital but it seems that John Westfall has been released. Coach Kendall, any help?

Brent,
Thanks! I sent an e-mail to Nicholls St that we obviously cannot play tomorrow but could not get info for the LSA Exec Board. Can you pass it on to whoever may need it? Appreciate it.
