Your solution (More Cowbell) appears to clip the text of longer news entries (titles). We need a solution that uses the direct RSS news feed.

I found this great little site:

http://itde.vccs.edu/rss2js/build.php

You can tweak how you want it displayed on your site.

Here is a basic one I am using for Iowa now:

Code: Select all
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://itde.vccs.edu/rss2js/feed2js.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.collegelax.us%2Fphpnews%2Fcollegelax.rss&chan=n&num=7&desc=0&date=n&targ=y" type="text/javascript"></script>

<noscript>
<a href="http://itde.vccs.edu/rss2js/feed2js.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.collegelax.us%2Fphpnews%2Fcollegelax.rss&chan=n&num=7&desc=0&date=n&targ=y&html=y">View RSS feed</a>
</noscript>

Thanks Matt. I finally updated the CollegeLAX RSS page:
http://www.collegelax.us/rss.php
with a link to the Cut and Paste RSS page. Scroll down to the bottom of that page.

Remember those of you who link to CollegeLAX could be the next Site of the Week winner, as announced in the Email Newsletter:

You appear to be using the old USLIA.com feed. The CollegeLAX RSS News feed is:
