Since some of us are familiar with this guy who goes by snooplax on the USLIA.com and Laxpower message boards, he and his Finland team should be proud of their accomplishments as they are now 4-1 with a 2-27 loss to Canada today.

This is the link from London Free Press (July 19, 2006):

Finland are now playing for 9th place in the tournament. Not bad for a country that has only played for 5 years. Just think what we can do with some funding!

As the ILF Championships in London, Ontario, Canada is winding down with several placing games taking place today and tomorrow with the 3rd place game and the championship game tomorrow afternoon, here is the link where you would need to scroll down to see what Baldo (the moderator over at Laxpower.com) listed the remaining games for today and tomorrow.

http://www.laxpower.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=239056#239056

Baldo's post is between Dakota Dan and Wombat.
