psotion changes on uslmdia.org

Postby vote4pedro! on Mon Apr 03, 2006 6:44 pm

I was wondering how you are supposed to update the uslmdia roster to show the correct positions. I have about 10 players listed at attack and only 4 truly play attack on an every game basis. Tim Fanning for instance is a midfielder and is one of the top scorers in the league but is listed as an attack and is actually a midfielder. Therefore his 4.5 pts a game is far more impressive to those voting on conference and league awards as a midfielder as apposed to attack. Thanks

The mistakes on the website are because that was the way they were entered. In our case, we probably changed our stats on our own stat software after we checked them on film. Whoever is doing your data entry into uslmdia.org should be able to go back in and make changes if necessary.

Pedro,
The position you have listed for your players is up to you. A lot of players play attack and midfield, so it's up to you how you want to present them. What's more important is having their uniform numbers correct. That needs to be regulated better then we do now.

In the SELC you will be nominating your players for others to vote on so you will have the chance then to make the distinction
that will be going out by week's end
