Who were "the Usual Suspects"?
Certainly not the same Usual Suspects from the MDIA (UCSB, SSU, CSU) in Tahoe and San Diego!
I didn't recognize a single name. No S4L on that team.

Here's another interesting picture at the beginning of that gallery. What's the defender checking?

That's tournament MVP Sean Morris going behind the back on one of our short sticks. He followed that up by promptly throwing the ball fifty feet out of bounds. He is a great attackman, but that play got a chorus of boos even from his own team. And the "Usual Suspects" team was a last minute squad full of players that pretty much stunk it up (no offense to anyone on it). They only had two or three subs.

Off topic, but small world... I was playing golf at a country club (my boss's) in Grand Rapids, MI last Friday. Our waitress at the 19th hole said that she has just moved ouit from Ft. Collins. I said that CSU had a great lacrosse program. She said, "I know, my boyfriend is good friends with one of their old goalies." I said is his name Alex Smith? She just lit up and said Yes! How did you know? I told her I get around. :)
I wish I could remember her name - tall, thin, attractive blond...

I notice that you're not wearing the green & gold on your helmet, Alex. Jumped ship already?

Tall, attractive blondes? Sounds like my M.O. :D PM me with her name, Laxfan. Our blue helmets are from our spring club team (Team Genesis). I've retired the green and gold to the mantle next to the TV much to my girlfriend's consternation.

BTW, one more MDIA star to add, Brandon Bailey (CU) played for the Mammoth team and got some good minutes. He scored three in the final game.
