Hey besides facebook and school newspaper, any other creative ideas for pulling bigger crowds? Rumor at our school is the more fans we get the more attention we get from the Athletic Department

A couple of ideas:
Do a halftime little kids game like they do at NLL games. Most kids will stay to watch the game. Thats at least 25 more fans. Little kids can't drive, so that is at least 25 more parents. Then you have grandparents, friends, etc.
Have a HS game before or after. Same as above applies.

Even having a couple of youth lacrosse kids in helmets re-stocking the end lines helps. We try and land at least one game on a parent's weekend.

We're going to try and advertise on the fold out signs that our Varsity sports are announced this year. They are placed along all major thoroughfares around campus.

It would be nice to tap into the community a bit more this year. Magnet schedules might be a small cost worth sinking into advertising?
