But Sonny - I rec'd the education AND the left leaning bias. Much to my father's chagrin!
I obviously couldn't come to such liberal conclusions on my own...
And Troy - Thanks for the kind words.

Rgistration goes up to $80 on the 1st. Does anyone else remember when the earlybird registration was $25? The drawback of getting bigger...So, who is going? Is anyone besides LaxRef presenting? When I registered, there was something about this years credentials having a barcode that vendors could swipe to get our info?

It's still peanuts compared to other conventions.

Less than a week away... Who's going? On Friday morning I am probably going across the river to see the NJ Aquarium, and the USS New Jersey museum if anyone wants to go.

I'm flying in Friday evening. I think a collegelax meet and greet was put together last year. Maybe we do the same this year?
Have a good time!!

CollegeLAX will be in the Philly house next weekend!
You boys find an appropriate evening location on Friday night sometime after the keynote speaker. I will be there.

What do you mean by appropriate?
There are the usual places around the convention center, but they are normally shoulder to shoulder crowded. I don't know how busy the lax lounge will be this year, but when I was out 2 years ago, it was dead. The brewpub beneath the Convention center, however, was packed. Ahh, the memories of the Broncos-Pats game with Andy, Alex, and the rest of the CSU group....Priceless. Sure the pats lost, but I will never forget Ben Watson full field sprint to annhillate the Denver db.

It seemed that way the every time I walked by there.
We've hit some of the local restuarants that have nice bars in the past.

While the room rate was more expensive, at the sports bar it was nice, during the IMLCA convention coaches got $1 brews . . . Sam Adams included.
Oh, and don't plan on meeting in the lobby bar, it's gone, tarped off and under construction.

So where will the meet and greet be? There is the 5th quarter in the vendor village. Does MCLA magazine have a booth? How about Collegelax.us? There is always the rockit pocket booth, where we can all troll for autographs with everyone's favorite MLL goalie?
