I don't know that much about most other leagues, but I have to represent for the SELC.

In Div. A #7FSU is definately looking to be a national threat. And in other Poll speak- #15 Ga Tech, #16 Va Tech, and #21 Fla. ALso with Tenn, UGA, Vandy, and NC State receiveing votes. Now thats a pretty deep # of teams that people are taking notice of.

In Div. B #10 Emory is making big noise as a newcomer, playing mostly non-B teams. #11 Davidson has made constant improvements to step up. #20 Liberty is looking good this year. And #28 App St will be climbing the charts as the year goes on. Also Elon is recieving votes- but they are a perrenial power that will of course be higher as the year goes on. And SCAD is a great up and coming program.

Now that was just Poll results which doesnt mean as much. But that is basically half our Conference that national voters have taken notice of....

In 2002, UNH did not fare well. Sonoma killed them in the first round and then Cal took them behind the woodshed.

UNH2001 wrote:PCLL teams have won some games in St Louis over the past few years. Not sure what BC's St Louis record is, but UNH has played well against some very good teams. Off the top of my head, in 2000 we beat Tennesee, and lost a close one to Colorado in the final minutes. In 2002 I think UNH also fared decently.
Bottom line- for an at large bid or more respect for the PCLL, teams must travel and beat ranked opponents on a consistant basis. I think the PCLL is heading in that direction.

Great way for faster respect is win a game that matters in st. louis.

Consolation games don't mean anything.

We took a trip to the PCLL last year and dropped 3 games against pretty good games. I would give them some more respect too.
0 degree weather wasn't cool either.[/u]
