ESPNU DirecTV channel 609; BYUtv game tonight!

Postby Tarzan on Fri Mar 04, 2005 11:28 am

It is official ESPNU is on DirecTV's channel 609 and Sunday they are showing their first college lacrosse game (Ohio State vs. UMBC).

I don't think it is a coincidence they put it right next to CSTV (DirecTV Channel 610). Lot's of college lax to watch this weekend on CSTV, ESPNU and BYUtv...TIVO will be working overtime.

Also, point of interest…The first televised college game of 2005 is Texas A&M @ BYU on BYUtv (DirecTV channel 374) tonight.

No word yet on any other networks.

More importantly byualum (and TAMU alum)...Who are you rooting for tonight?

I think their names should say it all
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

ESPN.com says that the NCAA Lacrosse Championships will be aired on ESPNU now. I guess this means that tournament coverage on ESPN and ESPN2 are no longer happening? Anyone know anything about this?

I e-mailed Dish Network and they have no plans of carrying it or CSTV. It makes me want to switch to DirecTV.
