People actually do this?!

How many "free" t-shirts do you folks have hanging in your closet right now? I have about 7. I can tell you what they promote, some even have web addresses on them. I have never visited these sites- even if they were lacrosse related (this is true of two of the shirts). While giveaways are good, I don't feel that the true worth of t-shirts and lanyards would be to get people to check out collegelax.us. If you can get enough folks at an event (think MLL/NLL/NCAA) to be sporting your lanyard or t-shirt then it gives what ever is being promoted validity- which will perk the interest of those who don't have them to want them, and those who don't know that which is being sold on free merchandise to inquire about it. But this would mean a lot of shirts, stickers, and lanyards. College-aged young men will always be attracted by the free loot. I know I am. I don't think that we're that discriminating.

Sonny,

I second the lanyard idea. Elevation charges between $2-$4 for the sublimated ones (up to 5 colors). Or maybe even a better deal since they advertise on here.

To me, the advantage of giveaway items is persistence...if it's something they will wear more than once (t-shirt more than a lanyard or hat) or keep on their desk or drinking table, you will get multiple impressions and a greater likelihood that they will get the address right if they do get curious. (After all .us is still not a common url extension, and if they go to collegelax.com - they will be at the wrong place).
On-site banners or program advertising have a much shorter shelf life.

Just get her to walk around with a collegelax.us tank top on (xxs of course) and pass out koozy's and lanyards, if your target audience is truly 18-35 year old males. I promise this would work and your hits per day would sky rocket

Yeah I def agree on that one.

However we live in candyland with gumdrop houses on lollipop lane. And koozies can possibly be used with beer so that's bad. And lanyards go with car keys, and cars are bad for the environment mmmk? And tshirts...ohhh man...do you know how many cotton plants died to make that shirt? We dont wanna be labeled as killers now do we??! And look at that girl, attractive...fit...skimpy clothing...do we REALLY want to send out the message that lacrosse and hot girls go together? I didnt think so either.

This is just me, and Im the only person on earth that thinks this way...but I would rather have 10,000 people per day looking at collegelax.us that like the taste of things coming from bottles or cans and likes hot girls than 3 per day of people that dont. I may be wrong again, but advertising has one goal...get people to see your product....simple equation for this one

Males Ages 18-35 TYPICALLY like attractiveness, free stuff, sports, food.
