I have no ties to Farinelli or Chapman, I was just pointing out that Constantine was not the only midfielder in the MDIA with 50+ goals.

I've seen Farinelli play several times- and I would say that the solace that he can have is that he is a freshman, and has three more years to make AA (and all three of them will probably be higher than HM). He's an outstanding player, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him either first or second team for his remaining three years.

Thanks for making my point, bud. WCLL and RMLC with 13 players on 1st and 2nd team. EVERYONE ELSE..........13. And thats with UofM having an unheard of 4 defensive players on 1st team.......something that wont be seen for years. Lets look at this years teams shall we???? 13 of 13 spots on first team??? WCLL and RMLC. you dont say. well, how about 2nd team?? 9 of 12 spots. i can go on if you want. cant find a 2004 list anywhere, but im sure we can all guess what it would look like. 2003.......8 of 12 on the 1st team......from the WCLL and RMLC. and another half the spots taking up the 2nd team. ill let the numbers speak for themself. im not even saying that the players from those 2 conferences arent good, because there are some great players from both. but for the 1st and 2nd teams to be so saturated with players from those 2 conferences alone should raise an eyebrow. even more eye popping other than the fact that constantine was snubbed from 1st team, but this kid from chapman putting up those numbers at midfield, and having AWESOME games on a CONSISTENT basis against the top competition in the country and only getting HM is another testemant to the legitamacy of the voters.

I didn't read each post in this thread to detail and don't know if this has been brought up yet but the number of All-Americans from each conference is also determined by how many teams you send to Nationals. I think every conference gets 3 people plus 3 people for each team you send to Nationals. Another reason why you might see more WCLL and RMLC people on these lists.

Someone who is more in the know can correct me if I am wrong.

You're on the ball, or close. I believe its different from A to B. One division gets a # of players for teams sent to nationals, another gets players for teams in the top 25 (I believe that's the B). Not exactly the conspiracy that it is being made out to be. . . How many teams from outside of the WCLL or RMLC have made the finals again?
