The 2003 loss to UCSB came in the finals of the WCLL final four. The game was on the Sonoma St campus but was in the soccer stadium not the lacrosse team's usual home field.
So I guess you could argue either way.

Fleck is right, UMD has never lost a home game during the regular season at home. To make an educated guess I would say that would be approximatley 30+ games won in a row on home turf.

I don't think it is something they want to talk about but Alabama may have a long losing streak.

Alabama beat the Citadel last year, but it looks like they had about a 21 game skid from 2002 until last year against MDIA opponents (beat Central Florida 6-4 in 2002). I haven't looked up anything before that.

And the streak moves to 29 straight. We looked about as good as you can in 18-3 and 11-1 losses to Montana and Linfield respectively. We take baby steps.
P.S. --I will not let this thread die until we win....buckle up

As promised, the update: The Streak ends at 30 games yesterday, April 15th after Willamette defeats Lewis and Clark 5-4.
Some numbers from The Streak:
During the streak WU was outscored 372-127, 70 of WU's 127 goals came in the season and a half while they still had first team all-leaguers Nick Christianson and Pat Kabealo (and a coach), after that time WU managed only 57 goals in 20 games.
The closest game during the streak was a 13-12 double overtime loss at Central Washington in 2004.
The biggest blowout was a 22-0 loss at Western Washington this season, and the only shutout during the streak surprisingly.
Ironically the team that beat us the most during the streak, Lewis and Clark (defeating us 5 times), turned out to be the team we beat to end the streak.
Just some words about The Streak:
This is something I hope no programs have to go through. I have been here for three years, and the majority of the streak, and it is pretty emotionally draining. The burden lifted yesterday was enormous. When you tell your friends you haven't won in three plus years they really can't understand that you had close games, they just assume you suck (which we did for large portions). Our program has gone through tough times, but I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This isn't a sob story begging for condolence, just some reflection on a long period of losing.
And remember, just like the ugly duckling girl who no one was attracted to, we remember who was kind to us during this period, and who wasn't. When we are the pretty girl at the party, don't be shocked if we remember your lack of class when we weren't all that. We greatly appreciate the sportsmen we play with up here in the Great Northwest, and we look to continue to spread the game positively, hopefully with some more wins
