Adrian already has a men's lacrosse team--club, of course. They just started up last year and have played a few teams in the CCLA. I'm not sure if they have a women's team yet, though.

Adrian is tops in the MIAA so far this season in football... Go 'Dogs!

The WCLL admitted two teams as developing members in the newly divided B division, University of California Santa Cruz,"Banana Slugs" and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, "Rebels". Cal State Fullerton was asked to play a season and reapply next year.

University of Oklahoma and St. Gregory's (also in Oklahoma) were admitted into the B-division of the LSA.

Are all these D1 football programs playing in division B going to be exempt from their conference/national playoffs?

OU is playing with the understanding of not being eligible for post-season awards. St. Gregory's, just an assumption does not have a D-1 football team. They are eligible for post-season awards.

Andy Sharp wrote:I can add another leg to this type of rumor. The MIAA, a DIII conference mainly in Michigan containing current USL-WDIA teams of Calvin, Hope, and Saint Mary's is looking into making women's lacrosse varsity. One reason I've heard is to help schools with football teams with Title IX compliance. (Calvin's been undefeated in football since 1876, which someday might help men's lacrosse go varsity before others)

One action by the conference that I can confirm is that this fall they've asked the Calvin women's coach to put on a clinic for other MIAA coaches/players.

Here is a list of other schools in the conference: Adrian College, Albion College, Alma College, Kalamazoo College, Olivet College, Tri-State University, and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Calvin College has NEVER fielded a football team. Let it never be said that the Christian Reformists aren't funny

Well played, Andy

In the WCLL B division bracket, since UNLV has a 1A football team, aren't they considered an A division team playing in the B division because they're new, much like Oklahoma?

It's actually Regis Unversity (Denver, CO), as I understand it.

Still awaiting final confirmation from the CCLA and the RMLC, I'm pretty certain we have the complete list of teams updated here on USLIA.com:
