Making Videos at the Convention

Postby Zeuslax on Wed Jan 11, 2006 4:12 pm

Wondering if anyone knows if taping can take place at the convention this year?

Maybe US lacrosse has plans to sell the sessions on DVD this year?

Taping was allowed last year. In addition, US Lacrosse sells the presentations on CD.

They always say it's not, but there's always guys taping it in the back of the room....get there early for a spot.

Last year's cd had (most of) the presentations (powerpoint) and (again, most of) the audios of the presentation. It was semihelpful for most of the presentations, but for things where they're drawing on a white board or demonstrating something (Gait's shooting clinic) it was a poor substitute.

Edit: It looks like they upped the price and also that they're making videos (on DVD) of the live field demonstration....

They weren't that pricey last year...

Saw some of the presentations from last year and your right. The audio was subpar and you felt as if you were missing half of it. I was hoping they were going to make DVD's.
