Lacrosse For Lives

Postby tlaing1 on Sun Sep 25, 2005 4:36 pm

Guys-
I wanted to let some of you guys know about something that's going on in Manasquan NJ, my hometown. My good friend, Jimmy Fagen (Wagner Grad) is running a fundraiser for Katrina victims (www.lacrosseforlives.com) and I wanted to throw this out at you all.

He's looking to have some used equipment donated that ya'll have lying around. These peices will all be going to either the New Orleans Lacrosse Club or the local high school teams that have just gotten through their first year of play in Louisiana.

The reason that I am posting this is because I have not only played in Louisiana at LSU, but I also have played for the New Orleans Lacrosse Club and in the Mardi Gras tournament and my experiences within Louisiana were more amazing then ya'll could imagine. These are great guys who have been delt a crappy hand. I hope that we can all dig deep within our lax closets and our hearts to find something to donate.

Thank you all for reading this and if you have any questions check out the website www.lacrosseforlives.com or email me tom (at) laxativeslax.com.
