That is because many still travel in 15 passenger vans. Both the head & asst coach each drive one.

We don't charge anything until after the first cut. After that, if they are cut or leave the team, they get back their dues, minus whatever we have spent on them (apparel, equipment, travel, pro-rated operational costs, etc.). If they leave after fall term, there is no refund (by that time we've spent their dues anyway).

AJ, I have over the last 4 years seen 2 teams at the D3 level travel in vans. In most games no more than 21 or 22 people play so there is no reason to bring more than 30. Charter buses is what most lax teams travel in.

It has been a couple of years since I coached Div III so maybe I am wrong. I can say that 2 years ago nearly every D3 team in New England took vans. I had to cut my roster to fit in 2 vans. Like I said things may have changed.
