Based in Chantilly, VA, OSD Studios is a nationally recognized, interactive design firm specializing in designing and developing engaging interactive experiences.

OSD Studios is looking for talented individuals that have the potential to create truly inspiring work. An OSD Studios designer has demonstrated the ability to create unique, memorable work in web and interactive design. He or she has a thorough understanding of such issues as storyboarding, screen-based typography, flow, and the ability to design on multiple levels that go beyond the pretty picture.

OSD Studios is looking for candidates that are true designers with a solid foundation in color theory, layout, and typography in addition to skills specific to the web such as XHTML and CSS design techniques. Team players who are driven and detail-oriented; hardworking and willing to put the time needed to accomplish goals and crazy deadlines that often go hand in hand with our industry.

Education:
Design degree or equivalent experience desired.

Experience:
Minimum 2 to 3 years experience.

Required Skills:
-Intermediate Flash and ActionScript knowledge.
-Expertise with HTML, XHTML, CSS.

Applications:

-Illustrator/Freehand
-Flash
-Dreamweaver
-Fireworks
Languages:
-XHTML
-CSS
-Basic JavaScript
-ActionScript 1 & 2

Primary Responsibilities:
Will work under the direction of the Creative Director and will be actively involved in the design process from concept to deployment. Will create Flash and HTML-based designs for clients across different industries. Will continue to learn new technologies, tackle new challenges, and grow professionally.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced ActionScript design and development techniques including Object-oriented design techniques. Experience with information architecture.
