Heard that ASU beat CSU, not sure of the score or game details. Looking forward to reading all about it on Flip's Journal.

So do I. Always entertaining and informative. I have no idea how he is able have great teams each year with hardly any talent.

Hardly any talent? That is quite a stretch. Have you ever seen CSU play?

I think what he's saying is that CSU seems to get the most out of what they have - new players, walk ons, etc.

And that Flip is the MCLA version of Lou Holtz. "The team we are playing is loaded with talent, and we are still struggling"is a line I have seen more than once in the journal. And then CSU wins by 10.

No, I think that it is amazing they are able to do so well each year with such little talent. They never have all-americans or all-league players.

Well, it's said that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. I think you are doing a great job of proving that point. It's getting old.

No all Americans - are you kidding me!
CSU had three all Americans - 1st team last year - Pat Bird, Danny Stevens and Adam Schrinl.

They come in this season with 3rd team all American goalie Tyson Ehinger and honorable mention all American Stephen Lundberg.

They also have several high school all Americans and many Team Colorado players.

And Flip is the Yoda of Lacrosse!

Today CSU won their 1st game against UC Davis 9-3
Won their 2nd game against Arizona 4-3

BYU beat CAL Poly 9-2, NAU 14-0 and Cal 14-0

I think the BYU/Cal Poly and NAU games were played by BYU's B team.

The A team beat Cal 14-0. They were playing ASU a little while ago and I heard a score of 14-4, but I didn't hear which direction it had gone. If BYU/CSU is going to start in a few minutes then it must have been a BYU win.

For the new faces on the Cougar squad, this will be a very interesting game. I'm not sure they will have played in anything quite like it. As one guy put it "It's a fall ball game that feels like a National Championship."

I can't wait to read Flip's blog. I am sure he will be ready next time they play the Cougs in the spring. He always seems to develop a great game plan for BYU, so I must say this result was a bit of a surprise.
