Postby If At First... on Sat Mar 17, 2007 5:54 pm

Dogfight going on in SLC --

Utah scores 5 unanswered goals to take the lead 7-4 at halftime, then Duluth comes right out and buries 3 straight to tie it up.

Utah just took the lead 8-7 in the 3rd.

Looks just like last year's game up here in Seattle!![/b]

FINAL
Utah 10
Duluth 9

GREAT win for the Utes, much needed. Rough trip for a great Duluth team, three 1 goal losses! The Utes once again confuse the hell out of the pollsters. Have fun with this one!

the game was nuts. early on it was lookin' like every goal was going to be man up. the first three were all in man down situatios. There were tons of turnovers and penalties on both teams. the keeps were both looking very sharp at times. each had there lapses. each goalie gave up the ball to an attackman on rides for goals. back and forth and back and forth. with 2:38 utah had possesion (man up) it wasn't looking good for the bulldogs. duluth's pressure d took it away. possesion changed twice in the last minute. duluth's d took it away again but only had 9 second to clear and score. gillman shot and ball game. very well faught on both ends and in the middle. rough trip for duluth but everyone should recognize their advances in the last years. don't hang your heads boys. keep coming. maybe these two teams can get a rematch in texas.

i've got a sunburn. 75 degrees in utah in march is crazy. it should be snowing.
