PNCLL A & B Semifinals (Sat, April 29)

I will be getting updates on the games from Jason Stockton down in Tigard, Oregon and posting them here.
First up today is the Montana-PLU B Semi-Final at 11am Pacific time. Expect the first live action game report in about an hour-and-a-half.
The Oregon-Gonzaga A Semi-Final starts on an adjacent field at Noon.

i was unable to make the trip due to work scheduling. I'll do my best to assist you in your reporting as i will be receiving calls throughout the afternoon as well.

Game is underway on a gorgeous day -- 65 degrees with sun and some clouds. PLU wins the opening faceoff and sets up in settled offense

PLU drew first blood with a goal by Hushagen, but Montana answered with a pair of goals (Volmer from Hall and Snout unassisted). PLU's Wuerfell goes coast-to-coast and scores with his long-stick to tie the game 2-2 at 6:13 in the first.

Montana stretches the four-goal run to seven straight goals before PLU gets another to stop the bleeding. But then the Grizz score three more times in the 2nd to take a commanding 12-5 halftime lead.

Montana defeats PLU 21-11 to advance to tomorrow's PNCLL B Division Finals. Player of the game, according to Jason was Middie Jake Bagley who "was simply unbelievable".
Oregon is cruising over Gonzaga, 17-6 after three quarters.

Oregon defeated Gonzaga 20-8 to advance to the PNCLL A Finals tomorrow.
Western Washington lead Southern Oregon 6-2 after the first quarter.
