At the end of the 1st quarter:

UCSD - 3
UCSB - 2

UCSB is man down for a few seconds to begin the 2nd quarter.

Wth 8:00 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter, SB has the ball with a man down and the score is tied at 3-3. Play has been sloppy on both sides. SB goalie Sheridan is playing well.

Nick Dean scores for UCSD despite having 2 longsticks on him. Drove on both of them and scored on an incredible shot. UCSD ahead 4-3.

Nick Dean again on an underhand shot to make it 5-3 UCSD. The Tritons are controlling possession in the 2nd quarter.

UCSD scores again with about a minute left in the 1st half to make it 7-3 UCSD. They continue to control possession time in the 2nd quarter as SB is turning the ball over a lot in the 2nd quarter and UCSD is capitalizing.

Early in the 3rd quarter, Nick Dean Again for UCSD (have I said this before?). UCSD is ahead 8-3.

If Dean is not a unanimous 1st team AA, there is something seriously amiss. He is unstoppable today.

UCSD scores again to make it 9-3. Dean did not score, but got the assist by drawing a double team and dumping it to an open man.

UCSB score by Dustin Benesch to make it 9-4 and then Luke Shaw follows it up in an unsettled situation with a flag down to make it 9-5 in favor of UCSD in the 3rd quarter.

UCSD scores but the goal is waved off due to being in the crease. 11:00 left and UCSB with the ball and down 9-5.

Nick Stratton was stopped on a 1-on-1 with the goalie and then Dean scores in the ensuing possession, but that is also waved off for being in the crease. Still 9-5 UCSD.

UCSD scores again with 0:56 seconds left to make it 10-7. Coincidentally, it was perhaps the only goal scored by UCSD today that Nick Dean did not have a hand in. It's all but over as they also have possession of the ball.
