Is anyone else going crazy watching ballet on BYUtv in hopes that at 9:30PST we'll actually get to watch a lacrosse game? My comcast guide says we have more dance in store for us at 9:30. . .I hope it's wrong.

BYU 13 Oregon 5

Impressive performance by BYU's man down unit killing 10 of 11. Drew Shumay couldn't be contained with 6 goals. Tough for us on the east coast to sit through ballet to get this game.

What a difference in halves. The way it looked in the 1st BYU didn't have a chance if Machechnie(sp) didn't play out of his mind. Props to Glenn and the Cougs for putting the first half (and the Ducks) behind them. And thanks to Pete for the shoutout. Any pub is good pub!!

The first half was a tale of 2 quarters. BYU owned possession in the first and Oregon the second. It was 2-2 at the half. The 2nd half was complete and total domination by BYU. They were more physical, more active on ground balls, and they controlled the flow of the game. Zach Davis was a one man clearing machine. Glenn was outstanding again in goal and the defense was very good. About the only place the Cougars were outdone was in shots, Oregon was shooting from everywhere and often. Of course the vast majority of those shots weren't even close, I was surprised at how inaccurate the shots were. All in all...a great win for the Cougars. They have 4 very tough games ahead to closeout the season starting this week with #1 CSU and then CU the next day. Go Cougars!
