Still pouring in NorCal. There should be around 6 people at that one.

Its better than the hail that was falling when we played Cal. I was starting to wonder if we were in California or Minnesota after that week.

Since you were out here on 3/11, it has rained virtually every day in Northern California since then, with the exception of 3 or 4 half-days of sunshine. The forecast for this weekend is not any better. A&M is going to wish they stayed home after this weekend.

I have lived here for thirty five years and have never seen a March (and now April) like this one.
SF broke a record for most rainfall and most rainy days in March. The record was set in 1904, before the great earthquake.
Speaking of earthquakes the 100th anniversary of the 8.1 San Francisco earthquake is later this month. Suvivors of that quake threw out the first pitch for the Giants home opener yesterday. There are not many and they are very old.

Well we had really abnormal cold in Blaine, incredible amounts of rain in sunny California - what does this all hold for Plano???

It stopped raining here for a few minutes. The Giants game vs. Braves is in rain delay. They think there might be a window for 5 innings but the field is soaked.
It has been so bad here in CA that on Tuesday, the Padres had only their second or third home rain out in franchise history.
Cal has astroturf, no clock and a tacky wooden scoreboard.
Tomorrow TAMU steps into the meat grinder. Fortunately their game with Sonoma St was moved from the mudpit at SSU to Amador Valley high school. SSU has 5 or 6 Amador alumni on the team. Amador has a turf field.

They can thank whoever for small favors--at least they're not playing in a mudpit!!
