Chapman leads 1/2 way through the first quarter 4-3.
Farinelli has one for Chapman. UCSD attack vs. Chapman middies.
Thanks to Redwing for reporting from the field.

Who is matching up with Dean? Chapman has been playing good as of late. I was a little concerned coming into this game because Chapman has two starters out. Should be a great finish to this one.

UCSD tied it 4-4. Then Chapman went on a little run 7-5 Chapman in second.
Chapman tried to lock Dean off with a short stick but it didn't work. Dean got free and scored. Now they have #10 on him, a long pole.
The defense is pretty non-existent in this game; lots of unsettled goals and fast breaks.

8-6 Chapman. Farinelli (Chapman freshman middie) has another goal, fast break. Nick Dean is doing whatever he wants. No one can gaurd him. Not sure of his point total but he is has a few.
Halftime.

11-6 Chapman in the third. UCSD is having a bad day. Nick Dean has been dishing off and the other players can't bury the shot.

Interesting so far. After hearing how well UCSD played against UCSB, I expected them to handle Chapman.

I did not think that UCSD played well against UCSB. They were down 7-4 with 3 min left before UCSB handed them the game.
UCSD has a major weakness....midfield, Chapman's strength.

13 -11 Chapman. Chapman had a pretty big lead but UCSD has come back. The UCSD faceoff man (a strong point of their midfield) has gotten nearly every face off. Just as he did against UCSB.

As Yogi Berra would say, it's deja vu all over again.
