Just got the first update from lil lady lax fan-
It is now halftime- early on the half, Whittier was ahead 5-1.
Michigan pulled off a strong second quarter to make it 9-8 in their favor.
Sounds to me like Michigan may be doing well in the "coaching adjustment" category of their games.

Correction to above- talked with lil lady and she said it was in fact 8-6 at halftime, in favor of Whittier.
Whittier was up at one point 7-1, and then began having some difficulties clearing the ball. For the first half, Whittier was in possession 90% of the time, but failing to clear led to a scoring surge for Michigan.
Whittier has been changing their keeper every quarter.
Michigan just put in a goal with 11:33 left in the 3rd quarter to make the score 8-7.

it was a game of runs, whittier jumped up early and looked like they were going to cruise to victory. they controlled posession and capitalized on two penalties in the first quarter.... then the wheels started to fall off, they changed goalies (after chenowith was making huge saves in the first) and michigan made a run.
all four of whittier's goalies played one quarter each. michigan capitalized on whittier's inability to clear the ball and scored a few to get back into it. whittier then compounded their problems by throwing the ball away several times on offense. sounds like a similar ending to the csu game, with whittier making a run late. they isoed an attackman at x, put a man on the crease, and the other four players at the top of the box, and ran that play for several scores in a row.
whittier was up 2 with about 330 left, but michigan did not pressure the ball, they did finally get the ball back with about 140 to go, but couldn't put one in and whittier ran out the clock.
great effort by michigan, and their players showed great poise and sportsmanship by not responding to the whittier fans constant taunting and heckling
