BYU definitely struggled all 1st quarter. This team is going to need to find their defense and a little bit of toughness or this may be a very disappointing season.

BYU is really happy that hole is in the net. That turns the tide a little more in Favor of BYU.

Interesting game. Both teams have to be concerned about their defenses, though.

I was really impressed with how far ASU as a program has come, they used to be such pushovers, but a great credit to them and their coaching staff for the level they are playing at. BYU also grew in this game, dealing with a some new young faces this is just the kind of game they need to get the experience to succeed for the remainder of the season. This win should keep BYU in the top five in the upcoming polls.

Did anybody find the number of gorund balls extremely high for two elite teams? Something like 130 between the two teams. There also seemd to be a high number of clear attempts for each team. The rule book has very specific definitions for those two statistical categories.
