A pretty good game by both teams. CSU was more deliberate, and in the end, controlled the ball enough to win the game.
CSU killing off the illegal stick penalty with only giving up one goal was key. Coach Naumburg was very unhappy with that particular call. In fact, they turned it around, controlling the ball for much of the three minutes, and even managed a man up at the end, if I remember correctly.
Oh behalf of Jan and Steve Jenkins, and their family, I would like to thank both teams for their effort today and their willingness to travel to Minnesota, we very much appreciate the chance to host you.

UMD better keep their eyes on the prize and not look past BC. They are quite obviously a worthy opponent. The Rams are very young and should benefit from each game they play together and hopefully it will be a great game on Sunday.
