you should not talk about the refs. Sonny made that clear to me the other day. Just looking out for you

Michigan #7 has scored, bringing the score to 12-7.
It looks like UCSD has pulled one of their defensive starters for some reason.

I have comments about the officiating too- but making them wouldn't change a thing- no matter whether I thought the calls were too heavy or too light.
Final Score- 12-7, game's over.
I have yet to see a referee make a hindsight ruling change.
A note on the game- I don't know if it was the weather (but it certainly began when it started to get a little rainy), but UCSD was having some trouble on the basics. Their offense shot themselves in the foot on quite a few occasions, just with catching and throwing. It may have been wet sticks- but UCSD was having problems just cycling it around the outside.
Michigan's keeper had a great game. Had it not been for his performance, this game could have easily gone to UCSD, and certainly been a very different game. He deserves a great deal of credit.
I saw Michigan play this weekend and saw them tonight, and they looked completely different. They may have worked out some kinks, but they looked pretty crisp and their motion around the exterior was precise. Also, following the first quarter, some coaching adjustments shut down UCSD's unsettled offensive situations, and kept the ball primarily in the hands of the Blue for the rest of the game.

Have to admit I am a little surprised at this outcome, not necessarily that Michigan won, but that they won by 5. I have no idea who is good except for CSU and SSU. Everyone else seems to be off and on. With a win over Michigan, UCSD could have jumped into the upper echelon of the league, but now I am just confused
P.S. Thank goodness for the spellcheck, or else I couldn't have spelled half of those words up there
