Congrats to Duluth on the game. Although I dont like to say it, they were by far the better team out there today. But if im not mistaken, Duluths starting 2 lines of attackmen (who were subbing in and out throughout the game) and the starting defense were in till midway through the 4th and there were several middies who never saw the field. Still, thats no excuse for the score today. Duluth dominated on defense and allowed very few shots, and the ones that Minnesota did get off either were wide or stopped by the goalie. On offense, Duluth had great movement and was able to find open men. This is not the same Minnesota team as last year. Graduation and other losses have left them without their leading goal scorer, leading assist man, and off the top of my head what I would believe to be the top three scoring middies. The man-down defense and defense in general are still strong. Maybe if they meet in the championship game they should just play man-down all game
. Congrats to the bulldogs and gophers on a good showing.
