With approx. 10 seconds left in the 2nd qtr -- Tyler Monteath scores for BYU on a "draw and dump" from top right side. Assist by #11 Marshall Kay.

At the half, BYU leads 6 - 2.

Opinion -- BYU is controlling the ball for long possessions which seems to be the difference in the reporters' eyes. Shots are close to equal, GT just can't get enough possessions. BYU's middies are controlling things for the Cougars.

GT turns up defense pressure. Jackets score off a broken Cougar clear. Missed goal scorer on far end of field.

GT scores again. # 8 (Mid Carl Wilson) maybe the goal scorer. Not 100% positive.

Around 6 or 7 mins left in the 3rd quarter now - BYU 6, GT 4.

BYU is man-down due to slash call to start the 4th quarter. GT retains possession - Cougars lead 6 to 4 with 15 minutes left to play.

GT fails to convert man up. #12 Dan Cole goes coast to coast and scores unassisted on a roll dodge for BYU.

Cougars lead 7 to 4 now.

BYU # 11 Marshall Kay adds another one after a broken GT clear.

BYU adds a "team goal" (scored apparently by GT goalie). GT adds one goal. Cougars lead 11 to 5, under 2 minutes to play now....
