UCSB dominated the play in the quarter, but not the score.

I'm sure that Michigan has hit pipe and missed open shots as well. I guess the UCSB misses have been more noticeable.

I'm gonna say that Rudyfan is a UCSB alum/fan. NTTAWWT...

Whad-a-ya-expect. The game is in Santa Barbara. Don't bite the hand that feeds ya.
NTTAWWT...
What does that mean, DG?

It must be over by now. Is it 8-5 final?
Thanks for the coverage BTW BlueVelvet despite the depressing scores!

Final Score: Michigan 8 -UCSB 5. RudyFan says that: Yes, in fact, Michigan had some close misses in the first half, but UCSB dominated the second half.
He estimates that UCSB outshot Michigan at least 2-1 in the second half. Michigan hardly shot the ball in the second half. UCSB scoring chances were thwarted by a combination of poor shot placement and great goal tending.
RudyFan actually thought that Michigan's goal tender was the difference in the second half with a number of great saves.
So, a very competitive game. Both of these teams have excellent defenses.
Thanks to RudyFan for the updates. Congratulations to Michigan for the victory.
