Kerfuffle....(chiefly British) : DISTURBANCE, FUSS

I like that word. Kerfuffle.

It's about halfway through the 4th and no new score but UCSB seems to have control. UCSB is subbing in from the bench comfortable with a 6 goal lead.

88 degrees today in Phoenix. Nice effort by the Gauchos to maintain in the heat. I'm sure that yesterday and today are the warmest game temperatures experienced by the Gaucho's since St. Louis in 2004.

Is the score 11-4 UCSB?

ASU scores again from #35 Austin Gray. Correcting the error from earlier makes the score 10-6. Apologies to all.

ASU scores again #23 off a fast break. Score now 10-7

UCSB might have put the reserves in too soon. But 10-4 seemed pretty safe.

Game Over!

Gauchos win it 10-7 (F)

There was a brain fart on the part of your correspondant earlier for which I apologize.

I'll wager that the word Kerfuffle has never been used on this board before!

Congratulations to the Gauchos for the win.

Ole!Ole!Ole! Gauchos! Gauchos!

Nice win for the Gauchos. Congratulations.
It is very difficult to win back to back games in Arizona at this time of year. Both UCSD and UCSB proved that over the last 2 weekends. The travel (long bus rides), the heat and playing two days in a row are pretty tough.

Big Upset: UCSD lost to B division rival USD, 10-9. Winning goal scored in the last few seconds. UCSD had a pretty good lead but could not hold on.

I think it is also has something to do with the level of lacrosse being played AZ

Fellas,

Lets not hijack the LAGR thread on this game (or any other game for that matter).

If you wish to discuss the level of lacrosse in Arizona, please do so in the WCLL forum.
