Getting logged off

Does anyone have any idea why suddenly I'm getting logged off? I have the option checked for signing me back in automatically each time I return, and it's worked for the past year or so, but suddenly I realize I haven't noticed any new posts for like a day and then discover that I'm no longer logged in.

What's the deal?
