The old message board (Ikonboard) is unfortunately toast.
After getting the board restored last December, we started experiencing weird, random problems (i.e. viewing certain posts, etc.) We then tried to upgrade the old message board to a newer style (think easier to maintain) database. The message board database was becoming to large to handle due to the large amount of user accounts, forums, & posts. The conversion didn't work out as planned and we couldn't restore the message board with the corrupted data. And due to a lack of overall technical support for Ikonboard, the "old' USLIA.com message board and all its posts are history.
It's tough to lose 4+ years of message board data, but the newly revised web site gives a shot at a new beginning! The new php based Bulletin Board is very slick (and more importanly for us web geeks, it is well supported). Lots of new features. It will take some getting used to for all USLIA.com fans, but I'm sure you will learn to enjoy it with some time.
Welcome back and Happy Posting!
P.S. If you have further questions about the new bulletin board (bb), you can check out the phpBB web site at:

New Board - Looks Great
Sonny... great to have the message board back. Great work putting this together. It looks great. Can't wait to see the whole site when it's up.

Nice Work! It's great to have this forum back again! Kudos and deep appreciation to all who make it possible.
I know, "reading is fundamental," but just for clarity's sake, does this mean that the content from the brief reappearance of the board over the last month or so (in addition to the earlier few years' stuff from before the hacking) is also lost and gone forever, oh mah darlin' Clementine?
