MDOC Training Manual

In the MDOC Training manual (Mechanic #3) it says that Both officials if possible, should meet with the visiting coach first- obtain certification players legally equipped, etc., then meet with the home team for the same purposes.
Normally, I get the home head coach first to learn if there are any special field conditions, player introductions, national anthem, time kept on the field or in the press box, type issues to worry about. Then, if necessary, I relay this information when I certify the visiting head coach afterwards.
Any reason why the MDOC manual says certify the HOME head coach first?
