Team A defender de-sticks his opponent, the ball stays in the Team B offensive player's stick while on the ground. The defender, with his stick flips the offensive player's stick and ball out of bounds without touching the ball.
Team A's ball?

Check player B's stick. Probably pinched or has a pull string.

Very interesting situation. At first I was leaning toward's giving it to B, since A gave it the impetus to go out of bounds, but if the ball was in B's hands and A checked his stick and it went out - it would go to A, so I would say the same here - Team A ball.
As JR says - it might be worth a stick check as well!

I just bounced this off a fellow official as we sit here in Detroit waiting to go to Philly, He says that a loose stick is considered just part of the field, so it should go to B. He made the point, what if there was a loose ball and B had dropped his stick. A, in trying to pick up the ball, causes it to hit off of B's stick and go out of bounds. Should be B ball there.

I've got the same opinion. Reinforced by several senior officials in Philadelphia this past weekend. Team A defender caused the ball to go out of bounds, Team B Ball.

That play sure sounds familiar Danny.
