Thanks for posting this LaxRef!

Posted on behalf of David Seidman:
A few minor changes:
Friday's session times adjusted to match room availability;
Sunday's room changed;
Missing room numbers added.
As to the late release of this schedule, the responsibility lies solely with me, and not with US Lacrosse or anyone else on the training committee. If you feel the need to vent your frustration over this, talk to me this weekend.

Anyone know anything about the assignor/observer meeting on Firday morning? I sthat just related to COC assigning/observing? I do the HS assigning in my area and didn't know if this would be of interest or usefulness - I dind't get an invite either.

I had a great time at the convention. I got to see some old friends and made some new ones, including meeting Sonny for the first time. I enjoyed hearing other officials speak and I learned a lot.
The COC meeting was much better than some years. I thought the pacing was much better, and the keynote presentation was great. It was about injury prevention for officials, a topic I've never heard talked about before. I discovered that when I hurt my knee and missed two weeks in 2006 it was likely because I wasn't turning from backpedaling to running forward correctly! Good stuff.
I also discovered that next year I'll be in charge of putting together the men's officials program for the convention. If you're interested in speaking, or if you have other suggestions, let me know now. My goal is to have a list of speakers and topics in hand by August and ready to publicize by early October.
