A1 has possession in his defensive half of the field and is fouled by B1 yet retains possession - Flag Down!

How many different ways can play be stopped during this flag down, slow whistle?

I came up with 7 and will list them in 1 hour.

Your ideas?

I would classify 1,2,3,9 under foul (technical or personal) by team A

Sorry for the delay, database error and all...

My 7 ways for the FDSW to end are:

1. Team A scores a goal
2. Following A possession in offensive box, loose ball goes outside box (including any shots)
3. Team A, with possession, carries ball outside box
4. Team B gains possession of ball (which would include intercepting a pass or a ball out of bounds turnover prior to Team A gaining possession in box)
5. Team A commits technical or personal foul
6. Timeout by Team A
7. Time in period expires

What about if the goalie for Team B loses a piece of required equipment?

Ball touches the ground outside the attack area before possession is established. Once it's in there, "GOODIE":

Goal
Out of the attack area (or out of bounds, which is out of the attack area)
Offense fouls
Defense gains possession
Injury
Expiration of time or equipment issue.

I'm not looking at everyone else's answers, so I'll check in a minute and see how I did.

(1) Team A commits a foul of any sort
(2) Ball goes out of bounds
(3) Player, including the goalie, loses a piece of required equipment in scrimmage area including mouthguard.
(4) Time expires
(5) Injured player in scrimmage area.
(6) Lightning strike
(7) Ball enters the attack area and then comes out.
(8) Team B gains possession
(9) A scores a goal
(10) Team A calls a time-out
(11) Something or someone enters the field of play creating a danger to the players safety.
(12) If it's a night game and the lights malfunction.

Okay, I know the first 10 are in the rule book and perhaps I am reaching with the last 2, but it's 1:35 am and I'm trying my best. LOL Okay, I'm going to go look at everyone's answers now to see how I did.

Looks like the only one I missed was team A dropping the ball before it enters the attack area.
