Talon Lacrosse Shafts?
Has anyone ever picked up a talon shaft? On their website it says that the shaft is a fiberglass base with an ash veneer on top. I was just curious to see if anyone has used one of these shafts and if they are any good.

I run a small lacrosse company out of Minneapolis (http://www.lavinlacrosse.com) that has just picked up the Talon line of shafts. Although I havent used it in a game yet, they are very strong, light weight, and are the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. They are a composite on the inside with a veneer wrapped around them. I will let you know after some use.

It's funny that it took someone so long to bump this thread again. Since then I had a Talon sent to me by one of the owners to demo and it did pretty well. I gave it to one of my attackman and he used it from October to about two weeks ago when he broke it on a shot. He took the shot and impacted a d-pole and crimped the top end near the throat of the head. I played a pick up game with it before it broke and was surprised by how light it was. I was thinking crooked arrow/R705 weight but the Talon was nice. I'd like to get my hands on one of the late generation Legends... we'll see.
Falsehoods are well-told, so think for yourself...
