Anybody got any experience with this?

What companies do this? What is the cost? Is it worth it?

I believe everyone is supposed to get helmets reconditioned after 3 years. If that does not happen, you are supposed to throw them away.

This applies to people who even own their own helmets. I guess its a huge liability if schools let players go out there and use unsafe helmets. Unsafe helmets can result from normal wear and tear. Whereas fasteners for chin straps come loose, padding in the helmet is worn away or damaged, or problems with the shell itself exists.

Most likely its worth it because of liability reasons.
