Coaches jackets

Postby SLUDoubleDeuce on Wed Jan 18, 2006 10:09 am

I'm looking to do some jackets for my coaching staff this year and wanted to see what other people like. I've always been partial to boathouse, but want to look at some other options as well. Any suggestions???

I am in the same boat. I looked around at the convention. Atlantic Sportswear, who did our warmups last year(and is a great deal) had some really nice jackets in the $150-180 range. Unfortunately, the turnaround time was 8 weeks. I am not a big fan of underarmor, but they do have some nice sideline jackets in the $60-90 range with the turnaround being how ever long it takes your local embroiderer to do the details. We are probably going with the UA and next year will start looking sooner.

I hit the web and fine close out deals on nice clothing. I then take that to my embroidery person here and get it done ($4 a pop).

I found a lot of good deals this year at www.tgw.com (golf warehouse). Bought some nice light weight Adidas rain gear for a TON less then boathouse and just as good as quality (rain proof and all). I also bought a number of nice under armour style shirts and cutter and buck golf shirts.

just another idea.... plsu the turn around is VERY QUICK!

Nike came out with a "lacrosse" catalog. We were able to get custom sweat suits for the entire team (which the coaches us also) from Detroit Lax. They did a great job with them.

I'll second that Matt. Central went to Detroit Lax two years ago and they've done a great job. All they're stuff is outstanding. If you can find it in lacrosse they will be able to do it for you. They deal with just about anybody and I would recommend them for anything you need in lacrosse. They also have great prices and are very easy to work with.
