Straight Heads

Does any manufacturer still make a good straigt head? I have never really liked the offset. I think I might be the only person I know that still uses them. They are next to impossible to find, and I am looking for a new stick.

The Rotor is more of an entry level stick. If you are looking for old Excaliburs or Turbos, you might be out of luck because the manufacturers really don't produce anything straight anymore. However, some retailers do carry some of those products that have since gone out of production. Warrior makes the Odyessy, which is pretty straight, but awfully stiff. Rock-it Pocket carries what might be the last straight stick (non-entry level) produced head from Mowhawk International. I forget if it's the Mission or the Extreme, but one of them is straight. Otherwise, you might be looking at entry level sticks from the various "big" companies.

Check the Debeer Shockwave out, I think that's a fairly straight head.

The Shockwave is massively offset. I played with it for 3+ seasons.

The actual head itself is completely straight. The throat itself is what makes it offset. The throat is rather long and in the middle of it the throat is angled downward at a dramatic angle.

The aftershock is an onset version, and one heck of a head.
